WELCOME TO
SHOEBURY PARK (Mixed) BOWLING CLUB

A friendly Lawn bowling club based in Shoebury Park, welcomes novice and experienced bowlers to join us, aged 18 or over.

We can provide Bowls to newcomers to the sport until you are accepted as a member.

The only equipment you will need to provide are flat sole shoes to protect the green and comfortable casual wear.

Toilets, changing rooms, tearoom and free parking are available.

2026 SUMMER BOWLING AT SHOEBURYNESS PARK BOWLING CLUB STARTS IN APRIL. ON SUNDAY 26th APRIL WE ARE HOLDING AN OPEN DAY FROM 10am – 4pm. Why not give it a try?

We are situated in Shoeburyness Park behind Asda. Bowling is good fun, good exercise and a very social activity. We are a small and friendly club with about 40 members.
Just turn up in comfortable clothing and trainers. All bowls equipment will be provided, as will complimentary light refreshments.

To avoid everyone turning up at the same time please contact Chris Ridgwell our Club Coach by text or telephone on 07768 585537 to arrange the best starting time for you.

IF 26th APRIL IS NOT CONVENIENT WE ARE REPEATING THE SESSION ON TUESDAY 28th APRIL.

For the experienced player we are in Division Three of The County Group 6 League plus the Southend Parks Circle Parren
League. Friendly matches are played against other bowling clubs over the outdoor bowling season May till September,
along with competition matches where trophies can be won.
